Synaptic Quanta is led by Arik Shimansky. We work on consequential situations that do not fit neatly inside one discipline.
Our work ranges across strategy, investment, ventures, transactions and applied systems. The common element is a problem that requires different kinds of evidence and judgement to be brought together before a useful decision can be made.
We stay closely involved from the initial assessment through to decisions, development and execution.

Building and testing analytical models, decision tools, forecasting systems and experimental architectures where creating something is necessary to understand the problem.
Leadership
Arik Shimansky’s background spans institutional finance, investment, strategy, technology ventures, climate systems and experimental AI architectures.
He has more than twenty-five years of business experience and formal training in mathematics and physics, together with further advanced study.
He was a Director at Citi in London and later worked with investment companies, technology businesses and executive teams on strategy, ventures and transactions.
His research examines how biological and artificial systems maintain attention, evaluation and action under uncertainty.
